Its a funny thing this funding issue. When you need it its a pain to get, when you don’t everyone will throw money at you. Its Murphys law at its finest. Here is the story. My new company is doing well through sales at the moment even though we are a young company. With that said we have started to develop new technology now that we have cash. Everyone that has money to invest is asking if we need money and I almost feel bad saying no. (Not so bad).
So here is some free advice. Start slow start with sales of a service or launch an easy project that will generate some revenue, once that is done start building things one block at a time. With the Internet today so many people can make some easy cash with doing a bit of clever thinking.
Start lean and cheap and than people want to fund. The funny thing is by than you may not need them. If you do need them, you will not give up the farm with equity allocations to those investors.
So what are you reading this for go make money.

Found you today on Technorati. Great comment about how to get funding…bootstrapping it in the beginning is always a good strategy and also you will have to give away less equity once you have revenues anyhow!
